Forum game xD

Humor America, Ssemodnar, Discussions, Misunderstanding

Hello everyone! So I thought of a forum game for us all to play, and basically the goal is to misunderstand what the person before you said :D be witty and inspiring! Be amazing! Be epic! :D

In order to make your statements more misunderstandable it would be cool if you tried to make your statements/questions as confusing as possible xD Being more lengthy and long-winded in your wording may also improve the game, plus it is a GREAT way to show off your fantastic (or really quite terrible) vocabulary and grammar! You could also misunderstand a word that sounds similar to another, to try and change the topic a bit!

So it goes like this:

1) I really think camels are so annoying when they unleash their saliva and bacterium in a projectory towards the front of your cranium, which is encased in the epidermis as well as the rest of your person!

2) Really? I never knew camels encased their saliva with epidermis and cranium! But you must agree that they have a stupendous taste in board games, the one we speak of is, in general, a great way to spend time with family and friends.

3) But I rarely am bored with my family and friends, it is more common to find me bored in class, but perhaps I should endeavor to be bored at home more often, if it is as beneficial as you claim it is.

So go forth you Humor Americans! Go forth and spread confusion about you and all around you! (But it may be wise to contain it inside of this thread xD)

Bored? In a CLASS? Seriously, the programmer ought to reassign their variables, if they are as arbitrary as you seem to imply.

You are right! It doesn't make sense when people don't have a control group to compare their variable to! That sounds like a very poorly carried out experiment...

String theory is really cool!

String theory is an active research framework in particle physics that attempts to reconcile quantum mechanics and general relativity. It is a contender for a theory of everything (TOE), a self-contained mathematical model that describes all fundamental forces and forms of matter. String theory posits that the elementary particles (i.e., electrons and quarks) within an atom are not 0-dimensional objects, but rather 1-dimensional oscillating lines ("strings").

The earliest string model, the bosonic string, incorporated only bosons, although this view developed to the superstring theory, which posits that a connection (a "supersymmetry") exists between bosons and fermions. String theories also require the existence of several extra dimensions to the universe that have been compactified into extremely small scales, in addition to the four known spacetime dimensions.

The theory has its origins in an effort to understand the strong force, the dual resonance model (1969). Subsequent to this, five superstring theories were developed that incorporated fermions and possessed other properties necessary for a theory of everything. Since the mid-1990s, in particular due to insights from dualities shown to relate the five theories, an eleven-dimensional theory called M-theory is believed to encompass all of the previously distinct superstring theories.[citation needed]

Many theoretical physicists (among them Stephen HawkingEdward WittenJuan Maldacena and Leonard Susskind) believe that string theory is a step towards the correct fundamental description of nature. This is because string theory allows for the consistent combination of quantum field theoryand general relativity, agrees with general insights in quantum gravity (such as the holographic principle and black hole thermodynamics), and because it has passed many non-trivial checks of its internal consistency.[1][2][3][4] According to Hawking in particular, "M-theory is the only candidate for a complete theory of the universe."[5] Nevertheless, other physicists, such as Feynman and Glashow, have criticized string theory for not providing novel experimental predictions at accessible energy scales.[6]
